Our Approach
Gallo’s commitment to the BIM (Building Information Modeling) process allows us to foresee complications and difficulties through the modeling development and provide solutions prior to the Construction Phase. BIM delivers opportunities for enhanced quality control and detailed quantification of materials while reducing expenditures and installation time.
Our Process
At Gallo Mechanical, we use BIM as the drafting standard to produce 3D duct, piping and plumbing drawings and drive our fabrication process.
In addition to 3D drawing production, we are also highly proficient in building modeling software for collision detection between our mechanical systems and other trades’ modeled systems.
Using the latest software of Autodesk Fabrication CADmep, Revit and NavisWorks, our highly trained team produces a turnkey federated mechanical model for use in a complete BIM.
Once models are coordinated, we use our modeled system’s coordinates along with a Trimble Total Station to layout underground piping, pipe hangers and duct hangers within a 1/8” to 1/4″ accuracy. This process allows us to quickly lay out our components and ensures that our prefabricated pipe and duct will be installed per modeled locations.
With so many BIM projects under our belt, our experienced professionals know what it takes to get the job done and get the job done right.
